Kim's story, the person behind Clear Path Media.
Kim began public speaking in the late 1980’s as a terrified 21-year-old so she knows exactly what it feels like to be nervous and shaking with a microphone in hand. Unable to think, unable to breathe, Kim describes that first talk as “… horrible and I feel bad for anyone who had to endure those first talks.”
Speaking in front of large crowds got easier with practice and in the mid 90’s Kim began working in Training & Development which tapped into her interest in how to communicate for engagement and messaging that resonates and sticks in people’s minds. This spark of interest and a competitive nature led Kim to found Clear Path Media, a Coaching & Training business, in 2008.
Decades later Kim has taught thousands of people to find their voice, impress audiences, and navigate the most challenging conversations with ease.
Coaching communication strategies also includes other crucial communication skills, such as how to have the toughest conversations in business, and how to be an assertive and inspirational leader who others are drawn to.
TV show Host, Co-Host, Podcast guest, Kim has held many titles. She currently spends most of her time coaching business professionals how to remove roadblocks to their success by giving them communication skills strategies.
Kim helped one start-up grow into a $100M industry leader.
The days of Road Warrior travelling from Conference to Conference aren’t as appealing post-pandemic. Virtual coaching feels more normal now than it did in 2019. But Kim does dust off the suitcase now and then to speak with larger groups.
After a day of Coaching Senior Executives Kim can be found recharging her batteries by hiking The Bruce Trail, rain or shine, with her dog Desi—a Beligian Malinois rescue.
